Comfortable stay with friendly staff

I recently stayed for one night and found the room to be very clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the breakfast options were satisfactory, offering a nice start to the day. However, it would be great to have a bit more variety at breakfast.

Shower floor grimy!!! !!! Couch stained beyond cleaning!!! No fridge in the room!!! Remote control didn't work!!! Room hardly vacuumed, found coins on floor!!! Too many people milling around at night!!!

Nice indoor heated pool!

Very clean and quiet! Nice that they allowed me to catch some Z's without interruption. Refund was sorted out, to my delight!

But let's be real, chasing a rogue manager is not quite what I had in mind for a vacation! If only they charged for entertainment!

The breakfast selection was limited and the dining area appeared messy, making it uninviting. I won’t be returning due to the various concerns during our stay.

Unfortunately, the room had a distinctly musty smell that really put a damper on the stay, likely due to inadequate air circulation. I was let down when the breakfast fell short, with only one cereal option available after a claim of being out of supplies, which doesn’t cut it for the morning fuel. some areas of the hotel, like the elevator, felt neglected with cleanliness issues I had to point out, reflecting a lack of attention to detail.

The room was clean and accessible. The bed provided great comfort. Staff were friendly and attentive during my stay. I appreciated the availability of a mini-refrigerator. The atmosphere felt cozy and cute.

Comfortable stay at Microtel in Beckley, with great overall value. The room felt new, clean, and cozy, making it easy to relax. Water pressure in the shower was excellent, a real plus after a long drive. The friendly staff stood out. they genuinely seemed to care about my comfort. Breakfast offered tasty options, including waffles and coffee, which started my day right. However, I did notice worn carpets in the hallway and some areas that could use a little sprucing up. I had to ask for refills during breakfast. Still, for the price, it was a decent stay. I’d say it’s suitable for anyone passing through.

Family stay with many frustrations

Our family had a rather challenging experience. Checked in, kids were super excited, but the joy was short-lived when we found hair all over the bathroom and yellow stains on the sheets. It's hard to see the kids smile when the place looks like it hasn't seen cleaning in years. We tried to talk to the front desk, but the assistant manager was really rude and wouldn't listen, which made things worse.

It wasn't exactly affordable, yet you might as well throw your money away at this point.
